Studies show that Candida Auris is mostly seen in people with several severe or recurrent medical conditions. People who work or live in healthcare facilities or are hospitalized regularly are also more prone to this infection.
Other risk factors for Candida Auris infection include:
- A catheter, feeding tube, feeding tube, or any other inserted medical tubes and devices
