Baking soda

Baking soda is a home dandruff remedy that is readily available. It serves as a gentle exfoliant to help remove dead skin cells, and treat itchiness and scaling that accompanies dandruff. Its antifungal properties also make it a significant part of dandruff treatment. A study showed that the antifungal properties of baking soda is responsible for its ameliorative effects of fungal development. An old study observed the effects of baking soda on 31 patients with psoriasis. The study revealed that baking soda baths plays a significant role in reducing irritation and itchiness. More research needs to be done to understand the effects of baking soda on skin redness, skin hydration, or psoriasis [6]. To get the best out of the compound, experts recommend applying baking soda directly to their wet hair and massaging it into the scalp. Allow it to sit for 1-2 minutes, and then keep shampooing your hair.
