Red or Pink Rash
Rubella is usually accompanied by mild symptoms that often go unnoticed. In some cases, you may not even be aware that you have the virus. However, one of the most common signs of a Rubella infection is a red or pink rash that starts on the face and goes down the neck to the trunk of the body, and to the limbs. The rash commonly disappears after three days, with the rash in the face fading as it moves to other parts of the body. The rash does not usually leave any staining on the skin, and it doesn’t lead to peeling of any skin. In some cases, you may experience small flakes of skin that shed once the rash has cleared, not leading to any permanent damage to the skin.
