Trauma
Physical trauma is any serious damage that occurs to the body. Blunt force trauma is a result of blunt objects forcibly striking the body which may cause broken bones or concussions. Piercing trauma involves sharp objects piercing the body as knives or broken bottles. Spleen enlargement can be caused by certain types of trauma, for example, during contact sports or in a motor accident. These accidents can damage the spleen and lead to its enlargement. Some sports like Football, soccer, and rugby are heavy contact sports here physical trauma is likely to occur.
