Vegetables and Milk

You can eat vegetables that are rich in vitamin C, which is an antioxidant that helps prevent and treat H. pylori infections. Do not assume that all high vitamin C foods are good for you because citruses, which are rich in vitamin are acidic and can cause more damage than good for an ulcer patient. Cabbage is one safe and healthy vegetable rich in this vitamin and can help alleviate stomach ulcers. Black olives also have a beneficial effect on digestive tract health.
There is a common misconception that milk can help treat stomach ulcers. Although it isn’t a treatment for the condition, it may temporarily soothe ulcer pain because it coats the stomach lining. However, if taken in excess it can stimulate the stomach to produce more acid and digestive juices, worsening your symptoms.
