Liver Or Pancreas Issue
The liver, pancreas, and gallbladder function as a team to assist digestion. These three organs are in the right upper side of the stomach.
In some cases, untreated gallstones obstruct the biliary duct, causing discomfort in the liver or pancreas. Liver diseases such as hepatitis can cause liver pain. Inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), can lead to pain.
Other symptoms of liver or pancreas diseases include;
- Yellow eyes or skin
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Very pale or white bowel movements
- Dark urine
Diverticular Disease
There are little pouches called diverticula found in the intestine, especially in the colon. When these pouches get inflamed or infected, it causes pains in the upper stomach.
Diverticulitis affects bowel function, causing constipation or diarrhea. Probiotics and a high-fiber diet can help treat diverticulitis. If it doesn’t go away after your home remedies, then you should see a doctor to remove the diverticula or a part of the intestines surgically.
