Simple Exercises for Tennis Elbow

Wrist Extension

This exercise helps to work the small muscles in the elbow, which are often overused during these repetitive gripping sports techniques. All you need is a table and a lightweight dumbbell, preferably two pounds.

Steps:

  • Take a seat and hold your dumbbell in the affected hand with your palm facing down and your elbow well-rested on a knee.
  • Keep your palm facing downward and extend your wrist by curling it towards your body.
  • Repeat up to ten times.

For best results, try to restrict movement to the wrist, keeping the rest of the arm still. If this exercise seems too tough, you can perform it without a dumbbell.
