After your surgery, you will be groggy and tired because of the anesthesia. Your doctor might also recommend that you wear an elastic bandage or special support bra to support your breast and help aid healing. In case of excess blood or fluid, a drain may be placed under your skin and you will be given pain medication.
Before you get discharged from the hospital, your doctor will give you instructions and safety measures to follow, such as:

- Medications to take it apply
- Activities to avoid
- Specific things to look for along the incision or with healing
- When you come back for post-op visit
