What to know about Identical twins with significant differences in appearance

While the majority of identical twins do have almost identical DNA, this is not always the case.
Again, since the embryos form independently after the zygotes separate, identical twins may differ from one another in terms of physical characteristics, mental state, and other minute details.
One twin may be somewhat taller or thinner than the other or have a slightly different hair color as a result of certain genes or features being suppressed during pregnancy. Or one twin may have had more nutrition than the other while still in the womb, giving them a somewhat distinct physical look.
Conclusion
Despite how similar your two adorable children may appear, they are not exactly the same genetically. But as long as they aren’t old enough to object, you can still enjoy dressing them up in the same attire.
Be aware that despite having identical physical appearances, your twins are both genetically distinct due to tiny, typically innocuous genetic abnormalities.
In certain instances, these mutations could result in one child being taller, having slightly different characteristics, or even having different health issues than their identical twin.
