Granulocytosis – Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis, Treatment and More

How Granulocytosis Is Diagnosed?

Granulocytosis is generally diagnosed with a physical examination and a complete blood count (CBC). The CBC is a test used to measure the amount of RBCs, WBCs, and platelets [6] in your blood.

The Presence of these cells in abnormally high quantities shows you have an underlying condition.

The CBC involves giving a sample of blood. Blood will be taken from a vein in your arm, then the blood sample will be taken to the lab for testing. Just like every blood draw process, there is a small risk of feeling pain, bleeding or infection.
