The stages of procrastination cycles
In the context of self-perpetuating procrastination cycles, there are two major stages that people go through:
- The issue stage: At this stage, the procrastinator experiences some issues, such as anxiety, fear of failure, or exhaustion, which makes them more likely to procrastinate.
- The procrastination stage: At this stage, the procrastinator unnecessarily delays some decision or action (i.e., procrastinates) because of their issue, which makes them more likely to keep suffering from the same problems again.
