Discuss with your partner about safe sex
Use your barrier method correctly when you have any sexual activity
Avoid sharing needles
Avoid having sex under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Take your STD medication correctly
Visit your doctor immediately you suspect you have contracted any disease
Ask your doctor about post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) [8]
Ask your doctor about pre-exposure prophylaxis (PREP) [9]
