Difference Between Adrenal Fatigue vs. Adrenal Insufficiency
Contrary to popular belief, adrenal fatigue is not the same thing as adrenal insufficiency. Adrenal insufficiency, is a medical condition that occurs due to the inability of your adrenal glands to produce enough amounts of one or more important hormones. An example of adrenal insufficiency is Addison’s disease.
On the other hand, adrenal fatigue is a theory that suggests high levels of stress can cause a mild type of adrenal insufficiency.
