When to call a doctor
You can call your doctor if your jumping spider bite does not leave after 1-2 days.
If your symptoms do not leave after a few days, it may mean you are having an allergic reaction to the jumping spider bite or you’ve been bitten by a different type of spider.
Some symptoms can lead to a medical emergency if they are not properly treated. Some of them included:
- A red or purple blister
- Swollen lymph glands [4]
- Dizziness
- Increased blood pressure [5]
- Difficulty breathing
- Rashes spreading past the initial welt
- Increased heart rate [6]
- Fever or chills
- Nausea [7] and vomiting
