Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycemia) – Symptoms, Causes, Diagnosis, Treatment and More

Symptoms of Hypoglycemia

Low blood sugar levels can manifest in several ways and they can occur suddenly. The symptoms of low blood sugar are hunger, shaking, loss of consciousness, seizure or coma, blurry vision [3], mood changes, dizziness, trouble thinking clearly or focusing, difficulty sleeping, sweating [4], pale skin, skin tingling, fast heartbeat, unexplained fatigue and irritability or anxiety.

People that know nothing about hypoglycemia are unable to detect or observe these symptoms when their blood glucose is low. It is possible for the blood sugar to reduce without you knowing. If treatment is not administered immediately, you might have a seizure, faint or even go into coma.
