Managing the side effects of Parkinson’s drugs
Be aware of what to expect

Talk with your doctor and pharmacist each time you receive a new prescription about potential side effects. Thereafter, you’ll be aware of the symptoms to watch out for and report to your physician. Find out whether any of the additional medications you take interact with your Parkinson’s treatment so as to avoid taking them.
Remain on course
To avoid side effects, strictly follow the instructions. Take the dosage that your doctor prescribed exactly each day at the same time. Take note of whether you take the medication with or without food. It will also help to use a pill organizer and an app reminder to stay on track if you have trouble remembering to take your prescription or occasionally take the wrong dose.
