How to prepare for carpal tunnel release

Before undergoing surgery, it is important to tell your doctor about all the drugs and supplements you’re using. Certain drugs reduce the chances of having a successful surgical procedure. Your doctor may tell you to stop taking some drugs, such as blood thinners [3], ibuprofen, and aspirin one week before your surgery. Ensure somebody drives you to the hospital and back home. It would help to stay away from food for 6 to 12 hours before the surgery.
