Can men undergo HPV tests?

There is no suitable Human Papillomavirus test for men. However, men who have the virus can pass it on to people unknowingly. According to studies, people who have a penis do not experience any HPV symptoms. In most cases, the infection leaves on its own before resulting in any symptom.
If the infection persists for a long time, it can lead to anal and penile cancers. Doctors recommend anal Pap tests for men who are HIV-positive and have anal sex. HPV can cause oropharyngeal cancer. According to research, 70 percent of oropharyngeal cancers are caused by Human Papillomavirus.
