10 Tips to Manage ADHD Procrastination

Work in productivity cycles

People with ADHD [5] may find it difficult to focus on one task. It could be because of outside distractions or the feeling of urgency to move on to the next task on your to-do list. You can use work cycles to manage your time properly, and stay productive. Start with arranging your day into small blocks of time. This will help you stay hyper-focused. Partnerships should be at least 20 or 30 minutes long. You can take a 5-minute break after every block. Start with the next focus block after each break. A perfect example of the work cycle is the Pomodoro technique [6]. Created by Francesco Cirillo in the 1980s, this technique teaches us how to divide time into periods of 25 minutes of undisrupted concentration. After every 25 minutes, you can take a 5-minute break. You can take a longer break of about 30 minutes after four Pomodoros.
