Urinary Urgency

It is a sudden and persistent urge to urinate. In normal people, the urge to urinate begins slowly and gradually builds up as the bladder gets fuller. In bladder infection, this sensation becomes very irregular and spontaneous. Urinary urgency is usually accompanied by urinary frequency.
Cloudy or Foul Smelling Urine

The patient may begin to notice a change in the color of his or her urine. A cloudy color indicates an ongoing infection. The urine may also have a very bad odor.
Blood in the Urine

This is commonly known as hematuria. The urine may begin to contain traces of blood. The color of the urine may become reddish or brownish as a result of the blood.
