10 Common Symptoms of Low Hematocrit Level

Unusually Pale Complexion and Nails, Problems with Focusing

The skin is the biggest organ in the human body. The glow seen in healthy skin is caused by the small blood vessels that are present under the skin. Low hematocrit level causes the capillaries to lose red blood cells, and as a result lose the natural pink sim color. In some cases, the skin may start to have a yellowish tone. Pale skin tone can be limited to one region or spread all over the body, like the gums, face, or inside the lower eyelids or lips.

White or yellowish fingernails may also indicate low hematocrit level.

Lack of adequate oxygen supply to internal organs may lead to the reduction of mental and physical energy levels. This may cause distraction and an inability to focus on simple tasks.
