Pneumonia

Pneumonia [3] is an infection of either or both of your lungs. Small air sacs that are present in your lungs assist oxygen to get into the blood. These little air sacs swell up when you have pneumonia and may even start to fill with fluid or pus.
Depending on the infection, symptoms can range from mild to severe, with mild symptoms resembling the common flu. Other symptoms in addition to chest tightness include:
- confusion especially if you’re older than 65
- cough
- chest pain
- fatigue
- shortness of breath
- fever [4]
- sweating
- chills
- lower than usual body temperature
- diarrhea [5] and nausea [6]
From this infection, a number of issues could arise. As soon as you think you could have pneumonia, you should consult a doctor.
