Common Symptoms of Bacterial Infection

Throat Inflammation

Throat inflammation is another symptom of bacterial infection. The most common type of this bacterial infection is strep throat [3], a group A streptococcus bacterium that causes infection of the throat and tonsils. Tiny red spots happen to appear on the area at the back of the mouth roof. They are contagious and can be spread through droplets from an infected person through the sharing of food and drinks. Throat inflammation can make eating and drinking difficult for someone. It brings irritation to the throat and makes swallowing quite challenging.

Coughing and sneezing Is also another symptom of bacterial infection as it can be accompanied by blood. It can also be accompanied by thick yellow mucus. Sneezing is caused when the nose membranes and throat membranes are irritated; this occurs when there is an outburst of uncontrolled air through the opening of the mouth and nose.
