Increase Your Potassium and Magnesium Intake

Including more magnesium in your diet can help you relieve leg pain. This is effective for leg pain not due to serious health issues. Some experts believe that magnesium is effective in treating muscle cramps in pregnant women, but more research is needed. [8]
Raisins, fish, bananas, yogurt, plums and whole-grains are some foods to add to your diet. You may choose to take magnesium supplements but you should speak to your doctor first.
Use Epsom Salt
Epsom salts are great for relieving leg pain and inflammation. [9] To prepare an Epsom salt bath, you need about half a cup of Epsom salt. Add this salt to a bucket of lukewarm water and let it dissolve. Dip the inflamed part of your leg into the bath water and let it soak for about 20 minutes. The pain will subside after a while. This salt is rich in magnesium which is important in relieving the pain.
