Hip Labral Tear: Symptoms, Causes, Treatments

Symptoms of Hip Labral Tear

Small labral tears frequently go unnoticed. When symptoms do appear, they may coincide with those of other hip disorders, such as hip bursitis or hip flexor tendonitis.

They may consist of:

  • Pain when you rotate your hip
  • You typically feel pain around the front of your hip
  • Pain near the groin
  • Pain that may radiate into your buttocks or towards your knee.
  • Dull pain that worsens after engaging in activities such as walking, running, or prolonged sitting
  • locking or clicking when moving your hip

It’s critical to see a doctor if the discomfort is:

  • Worsening
  • Intense
  • Affecting your regular activities or athletic endeavors
