Lumbar Radiculopathy

Radiculopathy is a condition that occurs when a nerve root gets pinched. When the pain develops in your lower back, it is called Lumbar radiculopathy, or more commonly sciatica. It is often caused by spinal stenosis, a herniated disc, or bone spurs. Symptoms of lumbar radiculopathy may include numbness or pain radiating from your lower back down one or both legs.
Treatment
Treatment for lumbar radiculopathy usually involves physical therapy. Various exercises may help improve core and lower body strength, stability, and flexibility. Some exercise may also help delay or prevent surgery. Acupuncture [2] and massage therapy may also help relieve pain in some cases.
