Nausea & Dizziness

Heart attack, angina, and acid reflux can cause [4] chest pain accompanied by nausea. Studies have shown that females are more likely to experience additional symptoms of chest pain like nausea and vomiting. The urge to vomit can be psychological or due to an underlying illness. Hence, it may be caused by cardiovascular diseases or non-cardiac issues like anxiety or depression.
Heart attack, hypertension, and arrhythmia are common causes of dizziness [5] when experiencing chest pain. Dizziness can occur when the heart is beating too fast or too slow, and it shows that the heart’s electrical system is malfunctioning. Hypertension causes an elevated heart rate due to the extra force of blood against the arteries. An abnormally fast heart rate is also associated with heart attacks caused by blockage of blood supply to the cardiac muscle.
