Huntington’s disease
It is a rare hereditary neurodegenerative [7] disease, it affects a person’s ability to move or think and may be associated with psychiatric disorders. Huntington’s disease can develop at any time but it usually affects those in their 4th and 5th decades of life. Juvenile Huntington’s disease occurs when the disease develops before the age of 20, when this occurs it leads to rapid progression of the disease. There are medications that manages the disease symptomatically, but none can prevent the progressive decline associated with the disease.
