Early Warning Signs of a Brain Aneurysm

Headache

Headaches or migraines are the most common symptoms of BA.

The damaged blood vessels can cause blinding pain in the head. Most patients have described this symptom as the worst headache of a person’s life. This is the most common sign that you have a BA, so it is best to take any intense headaches or migraines seriously and get them checked as soon as possible. This type of headache is usually severe and may last for a few hours or days.

Blurred or Double Vision

In some cases, the swelling may cause compression to the optic nerves, preventing the normal functioning of the eye. [3] The compression can disable one eye from moving in all directions, causing blurred or double vision.  In some instances, the patient may experience total loss of vision in one of the eyes.
