VR Motion Sickness: Causes, Treatment, and Prevention

Main Causes of VR Motion Sickness

While engaging in virtual reality games, the human eye picks up the movement noticed around you, which can range from riding on a galloping horse to arrows whizzing by in virtual reality. The inner portion of your ears senses virtual motion around you. Regardless of what is being displayed in your virtual reality headset, your joints and muscles perceive that you are not moving but sitting still. This then results in your inner ears, body, and eyes sending various signals to your brain at the same time. Motion sickness then sets in as your brain is disoriented and confused by the various signals being received.
