Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disease with a type of pain occurring in the hands, wrists, knees, shoulders, or other parts of the body. People with rheumatoid arthritis often feel stiffness, swelling, alongside warmth in the joint. This is a systemic autoimmune disease that affects the connective tissue of the body and has a lot of negative consequences. The patient may feel good for a long time and even lead a normal life while the body is already producing antibodies that are damaging its own tissues. When enough of these antibodies are accumulated, they damage joint components and cause inflammation. Articular components are slowly destroyed and deformed, which leads to impairment of their function or complete loss of it.
