Early Symptoms of Colon Cancer

Diarrhea & Constipation

Diarrhea [3] can be quite distinguished by constant loose stools which can be mildly soft or watery. This often occurs as a result of viruses, bacteria, or parasites. It is caused by increased excretion of fluid into the intestine. This frequent discharge could last for up to 1 to 2 days or in some cases 1 to 2 weeks depending on the severity.

Constipation is the difficulty emptying the large bowel. This happens when stool passes through the colon too slowly. Diarrhea or constipation is one of the most common health complaints and one of the key symptoms of colon cancer as they are both associated with bowel movements located in the abdomen.
