Endometrial Cancer: Symptoms To Know

Unexpected Weight Loss

Unexpected and unplanned weight loss may be a sign of endometrial cancer. Although, this could mean many other things, especially because weight loss is triggered by several diseases, however, it is still one of the checks in diagnosing endometrial cancer.

The older a person gets, the higher the risk factor for endometrial cancer. According to a national cancer institute [6], between the ages of 45 and 74 years old, the most causes of this cancer are diagnosed. Apart from age, obesity, endometrial hyperplasia, hormone levels, diabetes and cancer history are also risk factors for endometrial cancer. Therefore, with regular exercise, dieting, weight management, abnormal vaginal bleeding treatment, hormone therapy and a proper knowledge of your family’s cancer history, a person can reduce their risk factors for endometrial cancer.

Lastly, if you notice any symptoms or signs that may point towards endometrial cancer, any other gynecological condition, see a doctor or gynecologist immediately.
