Signs and Symptoms of Bone Cancer

Fatigue and Unexplained Weight Loss

Fatigue [5] is a feeling of extreme tiredness that usually is not relieved by rest. Although it is a less specific symptom, it may be caused by bone cancer.

A vast number of other health conditions also cause fatigue. If this is the only symptom you have, it is very unlikely that it has to do with bone cancer. Pay attention to see if it co-occurs with any of the other symptoms.

If you are losing weight without trying to (no exercise, no dietary or lifestyle changes), it may mean there is something wrong with your system [6]. People who have bone cancer may experience unplanned weight loss, although this is a less common symptom.

Weight loss is usually more easily noticed if it happens rapidly. If the loss is slow and gradual, it might be difficult to detect that something is wrong.
