Weakness or Fatigue

People who suffer from lethargy (weakness or lack of energy) or fatigue. The appearance of this feeling of weakness or extreme tiredness is often chronic (ongoing) in those it affects. This feeling is not relieved by rest and persists even after getting enough sleep.

Fatigue is a common symptom in people with multiple myeloma and is often caused by anemia or other myeloma-related conditions, such as abnormal cytokine. [9] The replacement of normal healthy immune cells in the bone marrow makes it more difficult for the body to fight off infections. The body is put under significantly more stress working with fewer immune cells. This depletes energy sources and makes you more easily fatigued.
