Nausea, Loss of Appetite, and Vomiting
Nausea often appears before the later stages of stomach cancer. [4] You may often feel like you are about to vomit even if you do not eventually vomit. You may also frequently experience loss of appetite. [5] While symptoms may begin with only nausea, many people’s nausea starts to lead to vomiting as the cancer grows.
Some people simply vomit the contents of their stomachs after eating. The vomits of others sometimes contain blood as the cancer advances. [6] Many gastrointestinal conditions can cause these symptoms besides gastric cancer. Regardless of what the potential cause is, blood in the vomit warrants making an urgent medical appointment.
