Constipation

Several factors are responsible for constipation, such as some drugs, diet, lack of mobility, and lack of fluids.
You can treat constipation [6] via:
- Drink plenty of fluids-approximately 2 liters every day (stay away from caffeine)
- Use a mild laxative
- Take fruit juice or prune juice
- Engage in gentle exercise
- Eat wholemeal/wholegrain products
- Consume more fruits and vegetables
You should visit your doctor if you experience persistent diarrhea or constipation
