Apple juice

An apple a day does not keep the doctor away, but it has many health benefits. These delicious, crisp fruits are good for treating dehydration. Juicing apples significantly increases their hydrating potential.
Apple juice is about 88 percent water and the sweet taste makes it easy for sick people to drink. This drink also contains magnesium and potassium, which are useful electrolytes lost during dehydration. In one study [4] involving mildly dehydrated children who had diarrhea and vomiting, those who were given diluted apple juice were 6.5 percent less likely to need intravenous fluids than those who were given a medicinal electrolyte drink.
Some doctors recommend treating mild dehydration in children up to one year with apple juice half diluted with water.
