Overview
A1C home test kits are used by people diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes to observe their own hemoglobin A1C. It shows how well the condition is being controlled over the past two to three months.
A hemoglobin A1C test estimates the number of hemoglobin joined to glucose, which indicates how much sugar has been distributed in the bloodstream.
These kits can be used for various reasons, but they should not be used for daily glucose testing.
