Chills

Chills mean a cold feeling. In diverticulitis, chills usually come alongside the fever. In many cases, this feeling occurs without an apparent cause. Individuals get this feeling when the muscles continuously expand and contract, and the vessels in the skin constrict.
The feeling of chills could indicate other conditions aside from diverticulitis. Chills are linked to other medical conditions like meningitis, sinusitis, pneumonia, flu, bacterial or viral gastroenteritis.
Fortunately, there are ways to manage chills in the home. However, this depends on the severity of the chills. If it’s a mild one, then you can manage it in your home.
An individual with a mild fever can cover up under light sheets, but heavy blankets or clothing could raise the body temperature. Using cold water for baths may also trigger the chills. Hence, it is a better option to go for lukewarm water.
