Ginger

Ginger is a prescription culinary food and herb for inflammatory conditions. Its potential to alleviate gout has been well studied [8]. One study [9] showed that topical ginger decreased gout pain associated with uric acid. Another research [10] found that in subjects that have hyperuricemia (i.e., an elevated level of uric acid), their plasma uric acid level was lowered by ginger. But rats were the subjects in this research, and ginger was taken internally instead of topically. Using boiling water with 1 tablespoon of thinly sliced fresh ginger root, make a ginger paste or compress. After this, put a washcloth in the mixture and allow it to soak. Apply the washcloth to the place where you feel pain at least once each day for at least 30 minutes while it is cold. There is a risk of skin irritation, so it is safest to do a test first on a small patch of skin. Make a ginger tea by boiling a cup of water and putting 2 teaspoons of ginger root to boil for about 7 -10 minutes. Take the ginger drink internally. You can do this 3 times in a day
