Signs of Atrial Fibrillation

Atrial fibrillation [3] is a type of arrhythmia. It is more dangerous than regular arrhythmia and results from chaotic electrical signals that cause the heart’s upper chambers (atria) to palpitate (fibrillate). Symptoms of the condition include:

  • Difficulty breathing while completing normal tasks
  • Lack of energy
  • Rapid, irregular heartbeat and fluttering in the chest
  • Chest pain or discomfort
  • Dizziness or confusion
