Diarrhea
Diarrhea may not directly cause hemorrhoids, but anyone suffering from diarrhea while having hemorrhoids may experience worse symptoms. Piles cause the veins in the anus and lower rectum to be inflamed due to irritation, and diarrhea may worsen the irritation. Diarrhea is when you pass loose or watery stools more than the normal amount of times per day. Suffering from both conditions can cause a burning and painful sensation while defecating.
It is best to avoid straining when you have hemorrhoids, but diarrhea makes it impossible to rest the swollen veins. Diarrhea and hemorrhoids may also cause bleeding during bowel movements.
