Stretch Exercises to Alleviate the Pain of Hip Bursitis

Performing these exercises for hip bursitis goes a long way in helping the hips and other parts of the body. These exercises help in suppressing pain due to this condition. However, to get the best from these exercises, it’s advisable to perform them around four to five times weekly. By improving the strength of the hip and leg muscles, there will be a lower risk of developing bursitis.

Most importantly, it is beneficial in suppressing the pain that comes alongside hip bursitis. Aside from the three mentioned exercises, some other activities may also be helpful for the hip. Examples are the hip rotator stretch and the iliotibial band stretch. In the iliotibial band stretch, the individual leans against a wall and performs the stretch.
