Dry and itchy skin

You may have dry, itchy skin if you have severe kidney disease. Toxin buildup in the blood can cause rashes to form on your skin or make your body itchy. Many times, dry and itchy skin is caused by mineral and bone disease [10]. Mineral and bone disease develops as a complication of kidney problems. When the kidney filters get damaged, the kidneys become unable to properly filter excess water and waste from the blood, maintain normal mineral or electrolyte balance in the blood, or make hormones that are important for the production of red blood cells and the development of healthy bones.
Lack of appetite
Lack of appetite [11] is a symptom associated with many health conditions. It is very nonspecific, but it may also be a sign of kidney disease. This is usually due to the buildup of toxins that can’t be filtered out of the blood.
If this is the only symptom you experience from this list, it is unlikely that you have kidney disease. There are many potential causes of a poor appetite, so you should check in with a healthcare professional.
