Loss of Appetite

Loss of appetite are common symptoms in many conditions, such as depression, liver cancer, typhoid fever, inflammation of pancreas, hepatitis, chickenpox, alcoholic liver disease, and more. Besides some medications (such as antibiotics, sleeping pills, anabolic steroids, codeine and morphine) and psychological condition (including stress, bulimia, anxiety, depression, anorexia, etc) may also cause loss of appetite.

More commonly associated with liver cirrhosis is the loss of appetite. Most patients that have liver cirrhosis often lose the appeal for food, and this is usually associated with nausea.

Loss of appetite may cause weight loss, fatigue and digestive discomfort; people sometimes do not feel hungry. When you think about eating something, people will feel nauseous. With the development of this symptom, it may get anorexia that will need medical treatment.

When you accompany with symptoms of sudden weight loss, blurred vision, dizziness, confusion, chest pain and more, you should see your doctor for medication help immediately.
