Pneumonia

pneumoniae is a common cause of bacterial pneumonia, or lung infection. It happens when the bacteria get inside your respiratory system.
Community acquired pneumonia occurs if you contract it in a public setting, such as a mall or tube. Pneumonia that is obtained in a hospital or nursing home is known as hospital acquired pneumonia.
About 3 to 5 percent of community-acquired pneumonia in Western nations is caused by K. pneumoniae. Additionally, 11.8 percent of hospital-acquired pneumonia cases worldwide are caused by it.
Pneumonia symptoms include:
- fever and chills
- coughing up bloody or yellow mucus
- difficulty breathe
- chest ache
