Signs and Symptoms of Walking Pneumonia

Tiredness

Atypical pneumonia comes with feelings of tiredness [4]. While this tiredness might range from mild to intense, the severity is usually not enough to require bed rest. Tiredness is a common symptom of all types of pneumonia.

If you feel fatigued and are unable to perform your daily tasks, you may have regular pneumonia not walking pneumonia. Other respiratory illnesses such as the flu may also cause mild tiredness.

Chills and cold sweats

Chills and sweating [5] often go hand in hand with fever. While your body might be warm to touch externally, you may feel cold within your body. You may also sweat a lot more than usual.

These symptoms are in no way unique to walking pneumonia. They may be due to other cold infections.
