Atypical depression
Atypical depression is a form of depression that eases off temporarily in response to a happy or positive event. Regardless of its name, it’s not a rare or unusual type of depression. Some symptoms include:

- Poor body image
- Feeling rejected and extra sensitive to criticism
- Disordered eating
- An increase in appetite and weight gain.
- Heavy arms or legs that last for up to an hour or for a whole day.
