8 Symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder

Feeling of entitlement and seeking constant, excess admiration

People with narcissistic disorder are always attention or admiration seekers. This behavior involves constantly trying to get people’s attention, even strangers. It could be in any manner, by continually getting on someone’s nerves to provoke the person, seeking validation, emphasizing specific stories so you can get pity from people or get accolades, acting like you are unable to do something to get someone’s attention to teach or assist you. Once noticed by a psychiatrist, this feeling is immediately attributed to narcissistic personality disorder, and adequate treatment is given accordingly.

Feeling superior without any action that warrants it

They always want to be respected and regarded as superior even when their actions do not deserve respect. They feel more intelligent, more affluent, faster, and act exceptional in so many other ways, but in reality, they are none of these things. Because of this behavior, they struggle to maintain a relationship with people and, as a result, have no friends. They are rude and talk to people in very demeaning ways because they feel superior.
